We're excited for school starting -- Are you?

he Story County Blast Back to School fair is an engaging, energetic event for Story County children entering grades Kindergarten through 12.

Friday, August 10, 2018

1:00-5:00 pm

Ames Middle School, 3915 Mortensen Road, Ames 50014

Each child will receive basic school supplies and backpacks while supplies last, to help them start their 2018-19 school year. Our goal is to build relationships and make connections. In additions, local providers will be here offering free sports physicals, and vision and dental screenings.

It takes about $100 worth of supplies for each child to be equipped with basic school necessities. This event is a community effort coordinated by the Boys and Girls Club of Story County, Volunteer Center of Story County, Primary Health Care, Ames Community School District, Calvary United Methodist Church, Cornerstone Church, and community volunteers.

To donate supplies, please visit us on Facebook for a list of requested items and the needed quantities.
